Apple picking at Owen Orchards is truly a fun-filled experience. You can wander Owen Orchards at your own pace and pick the Owen Orchards U-Pick apples of your choice, so be sure to wear comfortable clothing, especially outdoor footwear.
Apple picking at Owen Orchards begins in early September and continues through the end of October. A convenient system of different colored flags lets you know which of the 15 varieties of Owen Orchards U-Pick apples are ripe for picking. Because the different Owen Orchards U-Pick apples are ready for picking at different times, you’ll want to visit again and again to hand-pick your favorite varieties at their peak of freshness!
All apples are sold by the pound, so you can bring home as many or as few as you like. Best of all, 90% of Owen Orchards U-Pick apples can be picked from ground level! On weekends, wagon rides are also available to take you out to the orchard!
In late September through late October, visit Owen Orchards to U-Pick pumpkins and maybe even squash!
